Jaguar 2010 XF and XK lineup Pricing Announced


Jaguar today announced pricing for its 2010 model year lineup, which includes a couple of brand new entrants such as the XFR super-saloon and the XKR Coupe and Convertible. Both cars were debuted at last month�s Detroit Auto Show alongside an updated XF and facelifted XK range.


Jaguar is also once again offering its Portfolio Pack for the XF range for an additional $4,000. This adds goodies such as 16-way adjustable front seats, contrasted leather stitching, and a new suede-cloth premium headliner.


As for the 2010 XK line up, it will start with a base price of $83,000 for the Coupe and $89,000 for the Convertible. The standard XK models are powered by a 385hp (287kW) 5.0l V8 mated to a six-speed automatic. The XKR, meanwhile, also with the 510hp (380kW) engine, will retail for $96,000 for the Coupe and $102,000 for the Convertible.


Both the new 2010 XF and XR ranges feature a number of standard luxury items including navigation, heated front seats and satellite radio. First deliveries are scheduled to start in the middle of the year.


Topping the range is the new XFR, complete with a 510hp (380kW) supercharged version of this new V8 engine and priced at a hefty $80,000. Unique features of the XFR include revised bumpers and lower front air intakes, sill extensions, bonnet louvers and grilles, quad tailpipes, a boot-lid spoiler and 20in alloy wheels


Pricing for the 2010 XF saloon will start at $52,000. Upgrade to the higher level XF Premium, fitted with the new 5.0L AJ-V8 Gen III V8 engine, and pricing goes up to $57,000. The price premium also adds bi-xenon headlamps, a blind-spot monitor, and reversing camera.
